After a well organised and friendly competition held today, (21st October), the results are in. The Orchard Cup has at long last transferred from the Central Bucks Branch to the Chiltern Branch, from Stewkley to Aston Clinton, who won in a close competition where Aston Clinton won by just 19 faults from the Stewkley ‘A’ team who came second. The Orchard Cup was therefore presented to Aston Clinton with many congratulations!
At the other end of the table, last place was fought over between Cheddington and the Great Missenden ‘A’ team with just 1 fault separating them. With ten teams taking part it was the biggest Orchard Cup Event for many years.
Grateful thanks to David Gambling (Hertfordshire) and Alan Marchbank (Oxford) for judging and their positive comments about the ringing.
