Long Crendon regain the Branch 6-Bell Striking Competition.

The Long Crendon ‘B’ Team won the Branch 6-Bell Striking Competition at Bierton today, 10th May, by beating the Long Crendon ‘A’ Team, with Stewkley in third place. The Bierton team came fourth.

The competition judge was, Caroline Pauley who was assisted by Jan Robinson, and David Coulcher.   Caroline commented that the standard of ringing was very good, especially considering all teams contained some young relatively inexperienced ringers, including juniors.

Thanks must go to the ‘Bierton Ladies’ for providing the splendid tea and cakes. Thanks also to Ailsa Knightley for the photo.

The youngest members of the Long Crendon ‘B’ team, Tobias Haseldine and Sophie Ingham receive the Branch 6-Bell Striking Competition trophy from Judge Caroline Pauley.
