A guide to Practices:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Branch Practice<\/strong> – This is the practice that is our official monthly meeting. \u00a0It generally happens on the second Saturday of the month, usually from 10:00 – 12 noon. \u00a0We ring anything from rounds and call changes through plain bob doubles and sometimes even some Surprise Minor or Major. \u00a0It is at a different tower each month and we try to spread it out so that we visit as many active towers as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

8-Bell Improvers\u00a0Practice<\/strong> – Generally on the third Wednesday of each month, currently held to coincide with the normal practice at Stewkley – 19:30 – 21:00.
\nIn 2026 it will concentrate on Plain Bob, including \u2018tenoring behind\u2019, Plain Hunting, and Cambridge, and also Treble Bob for the more experienced ringers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Striking Competitions<\/strong> – The Branch 6-Bell Striking Competition usually takes the place of the May Branch Practice and is held in the afternoon. The Orchard Cup<\/strong> 6-Bell Competition is with Chiltern Branch and takes the place of the October Branch Practice and again, is held in the afternoon.<\/span><\/p>\n
